We had a great program at our Rotary meeting this evening. Eileen Hansen joined us from St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Scottsville. She spoke to us about a comfort care home that will be housed on the second floor of the St. Mary’s rectory. Plans are underway but there is still much to do. Renovation of the second floor will take approximately $170,000 and then the comfort care home will need to be funded at approximately $120,000 per year. The facility will have two “comfort care” rooms and the plans are amazing.
There is much fundraising to be accomplished and many volunteers are and will be needed. This is a wonderful project. Keep it in your prayers and help where you can.
